If you’re staying in a town nearby, there are also night buses by De Lijn. In previous years, you could catch a bus that leaves from that train station at 2.45 a.m., but do check the bus timings to plan your trip accordingly.
Information about parking spaces for this year hasn’t been released yet, but in past editions of the festival, the designated parking lots were away from the center. So you may need to take a shuttle bus from there.

What to bring to music festivals in Belgium
The kind of outfit you’ll wear will depend on the type of festival you’re attending, and the items you can bring will depend on the rules of each festival, but there are some items that are simply a must at every Belgian festival.
- sunglasses – I have Ray Ban Aviators
- sunscreen
- a rain jacket or poncho against the rain
- paper tissues
- a power bank for your cellphone (everyone knows those charging boots take aaaaages and are never available)
- layers
- comfortable shoes
- a light backpack or even a fanny pack
- wet wipes
- ear plugs
- bandages
The above items are just for during the day. If you’re staying at a campsite, you’ll obviously need a lot more.
Don’t forget travel insurance
Plan for the best, prepare for the worst. Travel insurance has you covered in case (part of) your trip gets canceled, you get sick or hurt abroad and even when your electronics break or get stolen. I’ve had ongoing travel insurance ever since I started traveling to make sure I’m covered for every trip I go on.
Don’t have travel insurance yet? Check out SafetyWing. They offer super flexible plans that you can even sign up for while you’re already on your trip. On top of that, they were the first travel insurance to cover COVID, and when I got COVID, they reimbursed all of my expenses without making a fuss. Their customer support team is great and I can personally recommend them.
